R1 MX CHAIN

The special SRS is pre-loaded during assembly, creating a spring effect. As a chain wears, conventional O-rings and X-rings loosen their seal whereas the SRS has the inherent ability to regulate a constant sealing pressure against the side plates throughout the life of the chain.

Chamfered Links - The inner links are chamfered, this process helps reduce the chain derailment in the toughest off road conditions.

Chromised Pins - Specifically made for the off road motorcycle market, the bearings pins are chromised, giving them resistance to wear in the gritty conditions endured in off road motorcross racing conditions

Pre formed bushings distribute the load evenly, giving the chain extended life. The bushings reduce friction between the inner and outer link plates, maximinsing output power to the rear wheel.

Shot peened alloy steel side plates for high tensile strength and maximum load resistance.

Gold coloured side plates provide a special finish and the copper coloured rollers help prevent corrosion of the chain.

Renthal R1 chains are specially developed utilising Renthal’s SRS technology to increase the service life.
