Blip Assist Throttle Auto Blipper

Developed on the track, race proven and fitted to factory race superbikes the Translogic's throttle auto blipper / down shifter system features adaptive-shift-technology and multi-stage blip intensity, plus pro-tuner-mode for changing shift force and throttle blip durations at different engine RPMs. The blip assist system works with motorbikes that have fly by wire throttle systems fitted to them as standard. 

  • Description:

    This new state-of-the-art Throttle Blipper system or Down Shifter is designed to compliment Translogic's Intellishift DCS, QSX Quckshifter systems and Powershift systems. The Blip Assist ECU interfaces with the engines throttle body connectors via the plug&play connectors. During down shifts either Translogic's DCS sensor or Powershifter ECU sends a signal to the Blip Assist ECU which then performs a controlled throttle blip depending on riding conditions at the time of the down shift.

    The exciting NEW pit lane warm up feature incorporated into these state-of-the-art throttle blipper systems is activated by an anodised billet aluminium handle bar mounted bracket encapsulating a single sealed tactile button featuring gold plated contacts for precise operation.

    Fully adjustable and adaptive. The strength/duration of the throttle blip can be adjusted using Translogic's Pro-Tuner-Mode (No PC is necessary). The sensor trigger force can be adjusted too as well as the intensity of the blip itself in 5 different RPM bands. There are default settings within the Blip Assist ECU thanks to the hundreds of hours of real world testing carried out by Translogic Systems and it's professional partners giving you a great head start when first experiencing this new technology.

    Tie-rods manufactured using aircraft specification aluminium for durability and lightness featuring orignal Translogic's DUAL THREADS. Supplied as a 6 piece tie-rod kit for an easy install.

  • Fitment:

    Plug&Play ECU. (includes ECU and pit lane warm up button assembly only, will need a TLS-iS4-DCS or TLS-PSR2PRO system already installed to work).

    Plug&Play Full System. (includes ECU, DCS sensor, tie rod kit and pit lane warm up button assembly) 

    Tie-rod for GP/DCS sensor installations on Yamaha R6 models, M8 female and M6 male thread, length 86mm + 22mm of male thread (86mm length can be shortened down to 66mm) 

  • Installation:

    The Blip Assist ECUs TLS-BA4-R1-ECU and TLS-BA4-R6-ECU require either an Intellishift DCS, QSX DCS Quickshifter system or Powershifter PSR-PRO+ system to already be installed as they are complimenting ECUs and cannot operate independently without these components.

    The throttle blipper systems TLS-BA4.1-R1-DCS and TLS-BA4.2-R6-DCS operate as 'stand-alone' systems as they are supplied as complete systems but utilise the original internal Yamaha OEM Quickshifter ECU function. It should be noted that the standard internal quickshifter function is no match for the technology of Translogic's Intellishift quickshifter systems. For the ultimate gear shifting experience we strongly recommend the use of our Intellishift quickshifter ECU.

    Once the Blip Assist ECU is installed under the riders or pillion seat, the plug & play Throttle Positional Sensor connectors are plugged in and the pit lane warm up handle bar button assembly installed it's off to the Dyno to check the default 'blip' settings and make any necessary adjustments.
